Lets THRIVE this August

 

Summertime, with all it’s fun and excitement is a great time to take time out to really enjoy yourself and appreciate all the blessings in your life.

I am so thrilled to be speaking at Thrive, Groove Festival’s all new health, fitness and wellness area, it offers festival goers the chance to relax, rejuvenate and re energise the mind, body and spirit. Groove is the perfect blend of fantastic music and good food, the best way to spend a summer’s evening in Bray’s stunning Killruddery House from Saturday 19 August 2017 to Sunday 20 August. The whole ethos of Thrive is perfectly in sync with my own current mindset and my own personal intention to focus on fun this month.

It has been a very busy few months for me personally and I have achieved many meaningful goals that I have set for myself, but as many of us know when we set our minds to achieve a goal or a number of goals we often sacrifice something to achieve it.

That something for me was writing my blog posts and keeping up with my family and friends. So I am making it my intention to make August all about balance.

Maybe it is time to focus on your life’s purpose again and what success means to you. For me I feel out of balance when there is too much work and not enough play.

August has ushered in energy of excitement for me, I want to thrive and enjoy each and every day.  I am hoping for some warmer weather, loads of outdoor activities, barbecues, and fun in the sun with family and friends. I think it is the perfect month to really appreciate life. I have decided to try give myself a mini mind holiday to forget my worries for a few weeks in favor of enjoying the last summer month before Autumn arrives.

In My Life Goals Journal ‘month 8’ is all about Appreciation of Life and I encourage you to try to focus on that intention this month. I get many emails from people telling me they are really enjoying their new habit of journaling and love doing the monthly exercises and I know that following the journal has helped many of you manifest amazing riches and blessings, after all we are all trying to establish a secure foundation for a new and stronger version of ourselves.

The first step is to acknowledge and understand your worth and value. It is time to really appreciate yourself as a true blessing to the universe. Be mindful to stay focused on the positives in your life. If you are following the journal, get into the habit of writing down three things that went well each day, things you are grateful and happy for.

Having meaningful goals you want to achieve in your life is what keeps you motivated and inspired to stay focused on what is truly important to you

 

I have attached a sample from Month 8 from My life Goals Journal for you to take a moment to appreciate what brings you joy in each category. Work on a list of all the wonderful blessings in your life as you think of them, and the feeling of gratitude will grow. You’ll be amazed at how uplifting it is to turn your attention to the positive aspects of your life.

When you have a list, dream big and imagine how you could sparkle even more and attract even greater success into all areas of your life. In the column next to your list, detail what you want to attract or how you want to grow and develop in the coming months or year ahead.
